Alyssa Reid's Biography
On March 15, 1993 Alyssa Reid was born in Edmonton, Albrta, Canada. By the time she was 8 she moved to Brampton, Ontairo. When she when was 9 she entered a dancing compation and won. 2007 she celebrated her 14th brithday on "Party Mama"s". Then in 2008 when she was 15, she entered a YTV singing compation called "The Next Star" and she was put through 8 weeks of star school along with Christina LeClare, Amanda Rowland, Miranda Thomas, Briar Gills, & Dunnrey Bond. Also made her single "Gonna Make You Dance"
Since she won 3rd place on The Next Star, she is making it big; such as going on The Soda Pop Tour in 2010. She was touring across Canada with Jesse Bell and Hannah Montana Star Emily Osment. In the same year made a cd with 3 songs on it; They were: "I Know Your Right", "You Go Do You" & "If You Are". In 2011, June 21, her first full length cd came out, and she co-wrote all the songs on it. Later that year, in the middle of November her Christmas song "Mistress Claus" hit Itunes on November 17, 2011
In 2012, she was nominated for a JUNO Award "New Singer Of The Year" and preformed 'Alone Again'. Plus she is also a big hit in the UK with her single 'The Game'.
She also performed at the Burlington 'Sound of Music' on June 14, 2013. I was one of the luckiest fan to end up meeting her. One of my most amazing nights ever.
